Fava beans! (also known as broad beans). The pods are thick and spongy and contain large, flat, bright green beans that are tender, mild with a sweet and nutty flavor. Fava beans are new to our line up this year and the variety we will be growing is an Heirloom English variety that dates back to 1863.
